Lisa Edstrom, Director | Age-Friendly Minnesota Council 

Lisa serves as the Director of the Age Friendly Minnesota Council. Established by Governor’s exductive order, the Council exists to elevate the voice of older adults in developing the vision and action plan for an age fiendly state. With the Age Friendly staff, Lisa manages the community and technical grant program and nine action teams working to implement Minnesota’s Mulitsector Blueprint for Aging. Lisa has over 40 years of professional experience in health care business and administration and has held leadership roles in public, private and academic settings. She is lifelong, PROUD Minnesotan, a master naturalist, certified yoga instructor and passionate backcountry adventurer.
