The prestigious Dutch Kastenbaum Award honors a leader in the field of aging and is named after Abraham “Dutch” Kastenbaum, who dedicated nearly 25 years to hosting the weekly television show Senior Citizen’s Forum. MGS invites faculty, students, researchers, and practitioners to submit a proposal to present a poster about their research, innovation, or practice at the Minnesota Gerontological Society's 50th Annual Conference. Accepted presenters will highlight their posters in-person on Thursday, April 30th, 2026. This year, MGS is responding to the changing times by focusing on our theme: Learning, Leading, and Embracing our Future. We welcome poster proposals on a wide range of topics related to aging and the lives of older adults across health, mental health, business, law, and other gero-focused areas. |
