Marsha Weiner

Marsha is a former teacher who did research on media for children, she created educational games, interactive field trips with various cultural institutions and consulted on various broadcast programs for children.

She launched an earlier iteration of And So We Grow…Sowing Seeds to End Ageism with the late Gene Cohen, MD, but was unable to fulfill those plans due to his untimely death. Upon moving to Minnesota three years ago, using Becca Levy’s Breaking the Age Code and the WHO insight that children as young as four begin to internalize age beliefs, she launched And So We Grow…Sowing Seeds to End Ageism with the support of Duluth Aging Support and a Minnesota Age-Friendly Community Grant.

Minnesota Gerontological Society (MGS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 3050 145th St. W #377 Rosemount, MN 55068
