Sarah Garrett, MSN, RN

Sarah serves as a program coordinator for the VISN 23 Minneapolis VA Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center. She has worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2009. She has years of experience in clinical nursing, leadership, and interdisciplinary healthcare team education.

Her interests include exploring non-traditional approaches to education in the workplace, interdisciplinary education models, and improving healthcare for the older adult. She has worked at the Minneapolis GRECC since 2021, where she coordinates the clinical program, participates in research, clinical improvement projects, and staff and trainee education to improve the care of older adults and those with cognitive impairment throughout the VISN.
