Phyllis A. Greenberg, PhD; MPA FAGHE
Phyllis is a Professor and Coordinator of Graduate Studies in the Gerontology Program in the College of Health and Wellness Professions at St. Cloud State University. Dr. Greenberg teaches courses at SCSU with a focus on gender, diversity, policy, ageism and research. She has taught topical courses related to mental wellness and aging as well as several others. She guests lectures on issues related to Aging and Ageism, Antisemitism, Ethics, End of Life Decision Making, Food Insecurity and Homelessness in Older Adults, Older Women, Gender, Diversity, Policy and Social Justice.
Dr. Greenberg has served on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Gerontological Society where she was also a past co-president and was selected as the Outstanding Gerontologist in 2011. She is also a member of the Academy of Gerontology in Higher Education and the Gerontological Society of America. In 2018 Dr. Greenberg was selected as The Outstanding Educator for both organizations. She was recognized as a Fellow through the Academy of Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) in 2022.
