PRESENTER

Kelli Jo Greiner - Health Care Policy Analyst/Medicare Product Manager, SHIP Director at the Minnesota Board on Aging (previously known as Senior Linkage Line).

Kelli Jo Greiner works for the Minnesota Board on Aging (MBA) as the Medicare Product Manager and State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) Director, a key resource for Minnesotans navigating Medicare, often quoted by MPR News and AARP. With over 25 years of experience with the State of Minnesota, DHS, and the Minnesota Board of Aging, Kelli Jo provides education and updates on important changes coming in 2026 for health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid in the United States.

She expects the enrollment patterns will shift significantly. “Many people have established relationships with their providers over the years and will not want to leave said provider,” Greiner noted. As a result, it is likely that seniors will opt to change their Medicare Advantage plans in order to stay within the networks of their preferred healthcare providers. “I think what we are going to see is an increase in certain Medicare Advantage plans and a decrease in others as a result of this provider network problem.”
